May 25, 2012  What is $$ value of a Smith & Wesson Model 39-2 9mm pistol, #A689XXX - two serial numbered mags, 1 no-number mag, original wood grips. Very low fired round count, unmarked metal finish; has been kept in a hard storage case since new. Pistol is in excellent + condition throughout. I'd sure appreciate any help/comments. Moving forward from those beginnings, Smith & Wesson shaped innovations in the manufacturing of modern handguns. As of March 2011, Smith & Wesson offers approximately 110 different pistols of varied designs and features.

    Examine the barrel of the Smith & Wesson pistol. Locate either 'Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Massachusetts' or 'Smith & Wesson; Houlton, ME' stamped on the barrel. This identification proves that the handgun is an authentic Smith & Wesson pistol.
